Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Axe-Man arrived in Europe today!

Think he's a relative of HatchetMan... So, 40+ people are let go mainly in R&D across security and fire systems. One site in the UK will close down with all functions as well.

Now, the short-term numbers will improve even more, but 2 years down the line, when vital platform projects for the future see mayor delays because key people are kicked out to improve the numbers now, well then that will be interesting...! Amazing short-term view in the management

So, what will happen in other sites when Axe-Man or his relative travels...?

I thought the closed site Sherborne? was moving to Yeovil? Consolidating if you will.

Don't think anyone gives a sh-- about products or launching anything. It's all about profit. Less headcount = more short term profit. Who the hell cares about long term.

These dipshits can't even see two days into the future, much less 2 years. In 2 years they'll all be at another company, ruining it, too.

Those people don't think down the line 2 years from now. By that time they will be long gone and laughing all the way to the bank.
