Demo Employees Layoffs

I sure relate to this when they laid off 11,000 Demo Employees in 2010 to bring in a 3rd party, no notice at all, just were escorted out. Two of us had been Charter Members since opening but they could of cared less. I am still very bitter about it. So much for Walmart caring.

Yes, we realize every company has layoffs. layoff.com lol. We also understand why they do it etc. Just saying it is hard to see genuine friends be let go after working with them for many years. Anyways, again, yes we understand why.

The company company wasn’t built in that manner. The company experienced it largest growth without conducting itself in that manner. All while actually practicing the 3 Basic Beliefs.

You do realize that EVERY company lays off some time or another.... and most companies now only hire temps or third party. Walmart isnt a charity, it’s a business

I remember this very clearly. I would say 90% of those that were Demo associates were retired folks who were doing it for a little cash to get bye each month. Above all else seeing these people be escorted out was one of the hardest things I have seen.
