Best they could do is bloomingdales. They can't pull off old school Fields.
Marshall Fields got bought out for a reason, customers (and associates) need to move on and accept things change
While Macy's is in the proverbial dumper, we all know if Marshall Fields, or any other legacy big box name, is resurrected, it won't be the same. And those who clamored for the resurgence will be disappointed in the result. Therefore, knock it off. Those days are over and moving on is necessary.
I miss all the stores of long ago. Are they ever coming back with the service and selection they had back then? No. Simple as that.
