Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Sweet pea

SF is censoring their own Vivify Q&A site by removing comments they don’t like or disagree with-it IS happening! So much for having a voice! Oh and by the way, this movement of systems analysts rumor to answering phones for claims making double the max salary of that PA job is SF’s way to avoid paying severance or unemployment as folks would quit instead! Sad day at the farm! I have over 25 loyal years with this company and we are being led by folks that would take a buyout in a heartbeat by the highest bidder!!! I trust NI ONE in leadership anymore and if you are smart neither should you! I bet Meherle is rolling over in his grave right now!!

I have a special review to give on Glassdoor. I haven't used that site in a while since I left SF last year...I'll have to see how anon Glassdoor posts can be. I thought going to work for State Farm was going to be a good thing but I regret making the decision to take the job. Lessons learned I guess.

I only stay to be close to family. There is no other place in Blono to work.

Agreed with the last post. There is no reason anyone would recommend State Farm as an employer unless they are either doing so to confuse the stats or because they have their heads jammed up Tipsord's a--.

Yes, encourage folks to go to Glassdoor and put in real life reviews. I've heard SF hates this site and has even encouraged good reviews. I've noticed the CEO reviewed as positive has gone down from 51% to 46%. Darn if i can figure out why 50% of employees would recommend the company to someone else. Makes me think some management folks do go to the site and give positive reviews. In my opinion, there are too many negatives with SF now to recommend as an employer. In fact, a few months ago I had a nephew graduate from college and asked me about SF. I told him if he wanted an insurance industry job to check out Liberty Mutual who just built a big office in Dallas. Advised him of the time clock, point system, etc. and the benefit areas SF falls short. After 15 years, I would not recommend SF to anyone.

Totally agree with the Glassdoor recommendation below. Warn others and let management know how bad it really is.

Take to Glassdoor. Post a review and save some young college grad from believing the recruiters spin job.

Maybe those HR monitors need to do some real work. Come down into the trenches and actually do something productive. Why they have jobs I will never understand.

State Farm is trying to retain "yes men" and people that will nod their heads and not question anything. This is exactly the opposite of who they should retain in an era of unprecedented innovation.

Do the HR a--holes monitoring the Vivify site actually think anyone believes their horse sh--?

I mean, seriously?

If a post is kept up on Vivify then a moderator comments right after. Trying to calm everyone down and make it look like everything is just fine. You know more information is coming soon folks by the end of first quarter. It’s a joke.

I asked this in the last thread and didn't get a response, so I am assuming no one knows.

But is anyone aware of anyone being transferred to one of these headset jobs after they had already received a QTD and termination offer?

As far as people censoring the State Farm Vivify site, f--- those people. But it's not like that's unexpected.

Someone should go post a link to this site there.

I didn't expect anything less from the site. It's full of rear end kissers that want to look good to management. It's a sound strategy, judging by the look of the new org chart.

It's just encouraging a bubble that everything is ok to management. in the trenches, everyone is freaking out and every day there's at least a half dozen conversations with coworkers about what the heck is going on. Productivity has to be down with everyone having these conversations and people spending more time of the JOP sites and networking with management for jobs

They need to do some serious rumor control and start giving people some heads up for what they may need to do when the hammer falls and not give them some 2 week timeframe to make a major life decision affecting thousands of employees and their families

Yes. It is happening. Censoring the open forum site. Pulling employees in and passively encouraging the removal of posts and quelching. No transparency. Tipsy and his black limos and bodyguards. Dickwad and his harem of corn fed cows
