When ASM salary are demoted this week to hourly do you have an option of declining hourly and taking a severance and leaving. If you decline will a severance be offered? Are all leads being let go and does that include the HA sales leader? If the SM find out Tuesday at the Sears gm meeting would it be immediate?

No facts here but my Sears store would function best with the operations manager position eliminated since the last 3 and the current one especially do no work whatsoever but like to write up long time employees. Not helpful. The ASMs should stay and the current leads work hard too. The store manager could disappear and no one would notice. His contribution is nada. He only adds his big mouth.
They don't get demoted. Their position is eliminated and they get an opportunity to post for the new position along with everybody else.

I think all managers are invited to the meeting and some stores are affected more than other it goes by what your sales were and no not all asm are being demoted
If invited to the store manager meeting tomorrow, is that a for sure cuts in the store?
I think it would be effective Jan 28th. In the past the Asms were offered severance when switched. Coil be different now. Not sure about HA leads.
