@2ewv-- WARN notices are when you close a store and you lay off the whole store or if you lay off a certain amount of people in one state or location. So if they lay off 100 people in California and 100 in Florida and 100 in New York they do not have to file a WARN notice because they laid off 300 people.
And to add to this the WARN notice can be given for when the store closes not when it is announced it is closing. So if they close a store tomorrow and the state requires a 60 day notice of closing then technically they can file the WARN notice 60 days from tomorrow or they can take 61 days to close the store.

There are no layoff this week . if you want to know when it expect layoffs check the Wam report for the state you work in they have to report to the state when they do layoffs over a certain amount .
Kmart had a chance to survive if had been played right. He should have expanded k dollar stores like dollar general has been building in droves for years. The have become the king of small towns and are expanding. That would have been our ticket out of the current state of the company. But eddie was too busy with his swy program and imagining that we could be the next amazon after the recession.

Kelly has been the CMO for Kmart and Sears for the last 4-6 months or so.
Our Sears store manager does have a mandatory district meeting tomorrow. No details. I'm not going to spread rumors about what it is about.
If Kelly is done... maybe Eddie is shutting down Kmart?

Don't know if this a troll post or not, but maybe hes talking about the firing session that is going to happen apparently this week. Someone else posted got some intel of it and I guess he is just got word of it from someone else at work possibly.
