Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

LifeWorks

With all the uncertainty and stress resulting from SF's downward spiral as a competitive P&C insurer, I called LifeWorks this past weekend to find support and resources.

It was ironic that I had a difficult time understanding the person due to her accent. She tried and was patient with me but in the end, I felt even more doomed.

What am I trying to convey? It's that everything is going to be outsourced (AI, bots, ESL workers) as part of SF's future.

Hang in there with lifeworks. When I was suddenly terminated I called to see if any resources and the fellow there was extremely helpful. I found out I get six free counseling sessions. They give you doctors in your area and you pick one and go see them. I just finished my fifth session. She has been very helpful in assisting me to navaigate psychologically and emotionally by talking to a trained professional who is outside the situation. Good luck.

If all else fails make an appointment with your family medical doctor. They can refer you to additional resources outside of Lifeworks. Hang in there!!
