All the Optical Managers were given severence packets stating they get 1 week per year. This is incorrect. The severance policy clearly outlines that “non-exempt hourly managers who are eligible for overtime” fall into the salaried manager guidelines of 2 weeks of severance per year. Last week one of my OMs called the hotline and they agreed it should be 2. She called to check up on it today and was told it is 1 again. Different OMs are getting different answers. Everyone should call the line and state they are hourly managers, not hourly associates. Also have your Optical Market Manager email H&W HR. Don’t get screwed.

This is about the closing clubs only. HR has confirmed it is 2 weeks.
Closing clubs have been offered severance pay only. After reading the policy regarding severance pay it states 1 only.
I’m an Optical Manager, I haven’t been told anything about losing my job, my Optical closing, or anything about severance. So I’m going to guess it’s for the clubs that closed.
I’m assuming you’re taking about clubs that closed.
This isn't company wide, if its happening at all.
If am OM was offered severance today, it is isolated to a specific Market/Region or possibly store specific.
When did this happen? I saw our OM in an office today closed door talking with someone I've never seen before.
I printed this off the wire and yes it states 2 weeks per year. Who has been offered a severance? Just certain clubs or stores?
