Getting rid of sick time is one of the best moves ever. Now we don’t have those idiots taking sick time once a week to go hang out with their friends at the pub.

Under FMLA your job is protected for up to 180 days. You need to be aware though that your job does not mean the same job you had when you went out on FMLA. It just means a job. Idk anything about workers compensation. Sorry.

If you get diagnosed by a shrink you can get fmla. But guess what? Since those scumbags at corporate instituted PTO and took away separate sick time it’s worthless. As soon as you are up your PTO you wouldn’t be getting paid.

I'd contact a lawyer with that question.
