Systems has always had too many Chiefs and too many Indians. What is going on there isn’t a shock to anyone but those people that thought this charade could go on forever.
I know claims section managers were affected as well as support functions tied to claims. And they did not know. Like they got the mtg invite out the blue.

That's been my thought as well. Before CDE/ICP, there were rumors floating around of a potential sale, but then the economy happened.
Humpf.....beginning to think streamlining is an attempt to get the company in line with public companies to prepare for sale. It would make sense. SF has always had too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. This is not the case with public companies. The wife works in a position tied to the bank. She communicated Directors Managers have been layered in certain parts of the bank. Layering is not usually done in insurance. Therefore, I am interested to see how this all plays out. I do not think SF intends to fail but possibly a sale or going public is possible.
Well there are Section Managers also Claim Managers that should have been gone long ago. Sorry but true. Need to weed out some supervisors also Analyst too. Dead weight! Keep those who do work. The worker bees are mostly the least paid.
Section managers, claim managers, I don’t think Executive sec are effected.
SM= Systems Management? CM= ???
Is this Senior Management, Claims Management, Secretaries?
What are SM and CM? Is this all secretaries including executive secs?
