I just want to express how depressed I am. I really gave my all to being the best receiving clerk there was. My club managers would pass my name along to other clubs because I knew what I was doing. I took pride in what I was doing. I saved my club thousands of dollars because I focused on "our money ". Spending. I knew how to fix almost everything in our club. Maintenance, repair techs were scared of me because I knew what and how much $ should take to repair something. I took the time to make my club make money because I thought I had a future in my position. I'm now depressed because I know I don't mean anything anymore. I'm sorry to my club for being slacked for the past few months. I've just been in a rut. I actually thought because of this web site I'd be gone months ago. I honestly don't know what to believe anymore.

Why would the lead go and not clerk? Clerk has less to do. Mine barely has 2 hours a week a day.

They WILL find out who you are..This is why we have so many child suicides in our schools because of jerks like you. We need to be standing by one another and supporting each other at a time like this.
Let's all put in a complaint about this person and maybe they can bring charges on this person.

I was thinking the same thing get off your a-- stop feeling sorry yourself and go to work. Sh-- happens move on their is life outside of Sam’s. I to am a 25 year associates but I’ll be damn if I let this company get me down and depressed. Live your life Don’t let this company take that from you!
Shame on you for believing a "rumors" site. This is all speculation and you are taking it as bible. Clerk isnt going away, the team lead is. You have been depressed for no reason. Glad you aren't the clerk in my club! Go work and stop feeling sorry for yourself!
Us receiving clerks know exactly what's going to happen when they eliminate our positions. They are going to have a major catastrophe in receiving and management is going to say " oh hey, can you go back and look into this and see if you can figure out what's going on". In our club, the receiving associates refuse to learn any of the office responsibilities..They don't want to help you out but they want you to help them when they are behind or busy or someone is on vacation..
Anyone know if club hours is going to change to open 10am?

Rumors here are more mild if compared to crazy rumors I hear in my store every day.
My co-workers at the store and all gossip and rumors is what's driving me nuts.
What club are you in? We receiving clerks have been told we are losing our jobs.

Sounds like you are just in a day stocking club.
I am in a test club for new receiving and the clerks do not lose their job, your role becomes a little different. You do what little is left of invoice clerk, claims, on the dock, etc. unless you are in a situation of your receiving being over staffed they are not eliminating your position. Hope this helps
Home office needs to assure or tell us we are out now. This is pure torture for us. They owe us! We have so much stress and mental stress to save them money. It's so messed up for them to keep us hanging. We were there back bone to saving money in the company. Totally sickens me how pathetic they are to our feelings 😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫

I know exactly how you feel. I have been the receiving clerk for almost 20 years. I did everything I was asked to do and more without complaining. That's what I was paid to do and there was a time when it was appreciated. But so much has changed. I feel sorry for the new hirees because they will never know what SAMs club was like in the beginning. I wish the best to everyone who's struggling with all this change, but we can't stop it. Enjoy the time you have in your role as long as that may be. Mentally prepare yourself to take on another role that you may like, maybe the area or the leader. Job not gone til its gone.
