Easier said then done. Believe me I have been apply to other jobs non stop. All I was saying is them laying people off before they can get another have somewhere is hard they have bills to pay. And it's harder for older people to get jobs. Ones who are still too young to retire. My dad is 61 and has been working at Sam's for 22 plus years. Who is going to hire a 61 yea r old knowing the might retire in a few years. But my dad says he probably won't ever retire he'll work until he drops dead. Got bills to pay you know.
We were told availability forms were company wide.
Sams will not pay your bills, but you could get another job and with that Job you will earn money. To be able to pay for bills. Sams club isn’t the only company in whatever state your in..
I'm assuming communication is the wireless kiosk. Where I work. I am really freaking out. I can't get laid off. Is Sam's club going to pay my rent, bills, insurance etc... ????
I have not had any communication or anything from home office come down for me to delegate to my night associates but that doesn’t mean anything availability forms can be done anytime.
We have a grocery manager at our club. Anyone who works overnight have you all been asked to fill out a new availability form?? We think they are trying to see who has open availability to those who can only work 9-530. Just wish they would get this over with already and let us know what's going on.
Higher tier clubs that do over $125 million (or something close to that) still have Grocery Managers. Most of us are not that level and thus have General Merch running Grocery.
