Hans the Hapless is Blackrock and Larry Fink's DEI man on the job. I am hoping to see some shareholder lawsuits before long because what we have witnessed during Hans's short tenure is pure incompetence and anti-Americanism masked in diversity nonsense.

It is ironic that the whitest guy in Verizon, who lives in snowy white Sweden is pushing his profit-destroying nonsense in one of the most naturally diverse companies in the world. The pension funds will not allow this lack of leadership and direction to continue much longer. They already have enough problems with commercial real estate, so they will not play on the dividend.

What is interesting is that the traders have allowed the yield to go to 7% without buying it down, which means that they have no faith in Hans or Skiadas.

This 100% is happening now. He has outsourced the majority of everything. Big time leaders are dropping like flies. Our numbers are lower than they’ve ever been. The quality of customer service is awful because we don’t give the internationally outsourced partners any of the resources they need. Moral is at an all time low. Stalks are plummeting. I think he’s getting it ready to sell while they all walk away.
Everyone knew what a shady man he was but hired him anyway. I’m guessing he blackmailed someone to get where he is. Jeffrey Epstein things going on.

Terrible CEO - he destroyed the company - Ericsson - that he was previously heading. Ericsson was doing very well when he became CEO and he drove it to the ground in the six years he was CEO, including major corruption scandals all across the world which the new CEO had to settle with US SEC and DOJ paying $1B+ fine - money that could have been invested in new R&D.

Hans V - total destroyer of value and god only save Verizon. The earlier Vz board fires him, the better it would be for the company and not to repeat the mistake that Ericsson board did i.e. wait for six long years of him gutting the company before axing him.

Allow me to correct myself from this previous post, the 100+ positions posted were all part-time.

As a current sales rep for Verizon, I can attest that everything said by those before me is absolutely, positively correct. When Lowell McDowell left, we believed that EVP John Stratton would be the next CEO due in part that he was Lowell’s right hand man. In June of 2018, the new CEO and destroyer of Ericsson, Hans Vestberg was announced. The same day, Stratton immediately resigned, not that we blamed him. We were absolutely devastated. We liked Lowell and John. We knew we were in for some rotten stuff with Hans, and boy, he did not disappoint. Covid was the perfect opportunity to accelerate their 5-10 year plan. When Covid hit, Verizon implemented a hiring freeze that did not let up until recently...but here’s the catch, no more full time sales reps will be hired. Only part-time (24-32 hrs/week). Within the past few days, we’ll over 100 new solutions specialist positions were posted...all full time. I have pictures to prove it. Quota is now near impossible to hit and they know it. Customer experience is now part of it, so if they didn’t like customer service over the phone, but loved you, they could give you a 1 out of 10 as they mention how you did great but feel shafted by the company...that is now a major hit on your paycheck. Anything below a 9 out of 10 hurts you. They claim that an audit system is now in place, but none of us are buying it. We know that they will make it so unbearable for current full-timers that it will make us quit only to replace us with a bunch of inexperienced part timers who don’t know better. Eventually we figure that when enough full-timers leave, we’ll be laid off with the opportunity to come back as part-timers for a fraction of the pay, or just give us a severance while they have already mathematically factored in their losses. Every month it’s something else. I don’t know a single sales rep who isn’t looking to get out. We can’t just up and quit because, honestly, the insurance benefits are amazing. Most of us have families at home. It’s bad, really bad. This all may seem other-worldly, but it’s true. The full time sales representative is now an endangered species. Customers don’t seem to care right now...until it all comes down and they are left confused with no one to help them anymore.

I wonder if the Verizon Board of Directors are considering making a change given Verizon's poor performance under Hans Vestberg's leadership while T-Mobile excels.

As the previous comment stated, Hans is definitely taking Verizon down the same path as his former position. Half of our GM’s got fired, so now there’s 1 manager for every 2 stores, ASM’s took over GM duties, and now reps have SM duties. Our quotas have been raised, I have 5x the amount of responsibilities, and my pay was cut by over $20000. I used to be proud to work for Verizon, but it’s just disappointment after disappointment now.

I've worked for VZW for several years now, and since Hans has become CEO, it is constantly becoming less and less desirable to work there. It seems fairly obvious to me the direction the company is heading in. Right now they're in the process in cross training the entire company to do multiple jobs. Makes sense from a business perspective but that means when a customer calls they be getting a jack of all trades and a master of none. And you can guarantee the executives are giving themselves a nice raise when the the layoffs start again. Know who won't be getting a raise? Those of us forced to do multiple jobs for the price of 1. In addition, app engagement is something they're making us cram down everyone's throats. Now if a customer DOES NOT use their my verizon app within 2 days of talking to me I get held accountable for it. I get the convenience of customers using the app, and the Verizon up program is great and all. But the only reason they're forcing this is to get customers to do Verizon's job for them without having to call in. Hmm, I bet once the call volume goes down we will see hundreds of jobs being eliminated company wide. So our success in the company depends on app engagement which simultaneously helps Verizon Wireless eliminate the needs for customer service reps. We are literally being forced to help Verizon replace us with an app. Soon they'll be closing more call centers (they just announced Hilliard, OH is going bye bye). Verizon reps will have the option to relocate, go home based or leave the company. I'm betting many will quit, which will be helpful so Verizon doesn't look so bad because they won't have to lay quite as many people off. Now to protect yourself you can play the game, ki and get into management. But since they prefer to promote minorities so if you're a white male from the US you're going to face bigger challenges than anyone else trying to move up. Hate to tell you this folks but you can't rely on Verizon to support your family for too much longer. Best to start looking for a new job asap. And when you leave VZW won't care, in fact they're already cross training someone in another department to do your job. Good luck

I think it was Lowell that was/is pushing the "globalists agenda". Without question. Consider that none of the leadership of this quintessential legendary American technology company are either Americans or engineers. This of course just as the company is committing to technological investments and changes on a scale of a "new industrial revolution". How scary is that?

I agree with the comments above that Hans is pushing the globalist UN agenda. Initial comments from town-halls tout the precise balance of the diversity of his executive team - gender and racial - not the expertise. Business plans are explained in terms of "environmental sustainability". Nothing wrong with diversity or the environment, but if you know what to listen for these are the code words for the globalists. On the bright side, because the globalists have come I think the stock may reach into the $80s, but I think we know on who's back the stock will take that ride.

Hans AND Verizon are promoting the one world government agenda. They are just using this filthy pink pig as a distraction. They know most employees wont even look at him and make a nasty face. Working at verizon isnt a pleasurable job to say the least. This practice of installing deplorables, bums and criminals bothers me more than anything. Lots of good people lost their jobs over the last months and its stayed with me. Were all here to earn a living. Please remember that we all have the power to do something. Do what you can , with what you have when you can. Little things add up. Understand your contribution. So many of us have children and families but pushed the 5g cancer beam because its part of the job. Please educate yourselves. Verizon cares about profits not your children.

Honestly, Hans spends almost no time in Basking Ridge. He is either on the road or in Sweden. What a waste. He is clueless, has no engineering experience, and will cause drift in Verizon's strategy. Bad choice in hiring him.
