When I was let go in 2016, there were rumors after the managers meeting, that some lead positions would be eliminated. I thought that I would be one of them. The way I found out was by checking the online schedule. I previously had a schedule,and when I looked at my schedule online on wednesday and it showed no hours. This is how i figured out i was being let go on friday. Hope this helps, and good luck to all of you, and remember there is a great life after working for sears holding.

Can’t really tell by that our ASM barley gets our schedule done by Friday! And is constantly revised at sears... what is the news for sears!
I would not put anything past this company!!
If that is the case then work a bunch of hours before Friday over what you are scheduled. Just dont go home, just keep working. what can they do write you up for working out of schedule. ha, ha, ha.
This was how I found out too. Guess there must be more than one stupid hr.
So that will only work if your hr is stupid enough to key your termination early and take you off the schedule. Do not rely on this advice!
