E-sign Signers

Whats going to happen to signers does anyone know? Some depts are getting e-signs installed in our store. Are they cutting the lead position for signing or getting rid of all signers? How will all that work out? Who will be in charge of e-sign??

Does anyone know if a position on signing will be cut in your store? And if that person will be offered a severance of just a job offer for oncall or moved to another position?

It’s not even starting in our store until almost Christmas, and then just in home. I’m a sign lead and I’m ready for this to start now. It’s going to be helpful.

Look at Sears. Digital signs in every dept. Staff working the sales floor are trained to update the signs while multi tasking ringing, go backs, recovery standards, and creating a MAGIC experience for the few people in the store. The days of everyone does everything are coming fast.

I was wondering the same thing it seems no one in upper management is talking about it to us signers in our store. I only see other signers post about it on the discussion board at work but all speculation.i was talking with my leader we think maybe when the budget comes out for 2018 we can have a better picture of what’s to come, but maybe when the e signs arrive they could adjust the budget after they work out any problems but that if anything we are thinking less hours in the sign budget.

of course not. this is only going to be in Home to start. more to come. someone still has to manage it. their not ready to rollout to total store. we still need all the signers and the lead.
