So, what I'm finding in several articles is that Walmart is letting go of 500 people from HO this week. However, didn't they announce they will be slashing 1,000?
Does that mean that after the carnage that has been this week, we have another one like it to look forward to? Or did I get something wrong?
Rumor I heard was performance based terminations at yearly evals.
@Rqs25HN - The next wave will be in FYE 2019, in roughly 6 months.
It said that 500 more jobs will be cut in 2019. I’m not sure if they mean FYE 2019 or actual 2019. So the original 1000 that was reported was sort of correct, they just won’t all be at once. Just speculation, but I would imagine the majority of jobs will come from buildings in the way of the new HO campus.
