NO ONE LEFT IN COSMETICS IN NWI STORE

ALL of our Counter Managers were let go including big counters like Lancome ...

So right now there are NO CM for Clarins, Shiseido, Lancome ( oh she stays until AFTER HER GIFT ENDS WTF???) and the rest of us stay until 2/3 ( Why give 4 weeks notice again WTH?) after that WHO will do makeup appts for actual customers? Interesting I asked my Cosmetics Manager WHOM I can send my customers whom are asking for appts to....she said the 2 ( the only 2 ) full time employees left at Lauder and Clinique.... Those ladies said WE DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR APPTS!!! True since they will be running 8 counters with 2-3 people MAX....that includes gifts back to back, not to mention every day customers... I feel sorry for my coworkers whom kept their jobs!!! WTF Is Macys doing and thinking?

Macy's is failing miserably in the world of Cosmetics. The days of drawing in customers with GWPs are over.... only this company saw it too late. The dramatic cuts in Cosmetics is evidence of the end of the era of "service".... customers are saavy and know what they want; they don't need someone telling to sell them product.

But they let CM go on State Street

And Orland Park go as well....I hear it's a ghost town on State Street no workers!! We are a small store but it feels like the company is dying and grasping to what little they have left?? I just wonder what the SSA and managers will manage when there's NO ONE left to manage!!!

Makeover appointments will be no more....we won’t be encouraging people to get this service anymore. It’s over . No butts in chairs anymore except the lazy and tired shoppers needing a place to sit. I’m sure sorry to hear all this. You must be in a very, very small store to have lost CM’s
