I appreciate having a more complete picture of what's going on with Intel. And frankly, if stock prices and company performance are not layoffs related (since both directly influence them,) than what is?
Qualcomm doesn‘t have to pay people to come here and create discontent. Qualcomm employees are actually so petty that they come here by themselves to do that.
I think Intel's competitors are either paying people to or coming here themselves to post fake news to create discontent within the company. The reason is because Intel is too dominant in the PC and server market and continue to rake in billions of profit each year. Our competition have no way to compete unless they can encourage talent to leave Intel. Unfortunately, our leadership is not helping and have created an environment that makes people paranoid and easily influenced by these fake news. My message to the trolls is that you really don't need to waste your time posting fake news and unfounded rumors on these forums. Just let BK do his thing and you'll get what you want.

Go ask Intel HR or the labor department for relevant layoff info. This is a noisy covert channel to side-channel attack Intel Indian establishment. Do use it to complement the boring propaganda of the Circuit.
