Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Negativity

Let us stop bashing the millennial.

Yess, There is a work ethic that is missing. Physical labor is not for them wether it is stocking shelves,

maintenance, zoning, cashier, etc. However, these are tech savvy individuals. They are the ones who will succeed in in our technology driven environment.

Instead of wondering what is going to happen and when, just go to work. Do your best everyday as if no changes are coming. Be a team player for what ever time is left.

Get your CBL’s done, Stop texting

when on the clock. We all have families to support, and don’t want to see anyone lose their job. Make the best of each day. Learn some skills that are offered at the high

schools, library, or colleges.

Good luck to all.

You missed the point. They are working in a retail environment because retail is usually flexible with school schedules. That is not saying they will be guaranteed hours based on their availability.

When they have finished their degree , they move on. Retail is a stepping stone.

If they are the ones to succeed in a tech driven environment, they wouldn't be working at Sam's Club.
