Dell’s Logo - Irony

You can’t find this on the Internet. The design of the Dell logo with the backwards E was the “E” was tilted at 32 degrees to represent 32% growth each year. I guess that E should be colored red and flipped upside down to represent negative growth. LOL

I guess you are reading a different financial statement. Losing 900 million dollars in one quarter is not growth, and that was an improvement. About 15 years ago Dell taught in their business classes they there is no future in innovation. Dell taught use someone else’s innovation and then do it cheaper. That logic is deep in their culture; i.e., Dell is a commodity company regardless of companies they buy. About 10 years ago Dell bought a software company from Illinois. In their wisdom they didn’t use the company’s delivery system, which was one of the company’s strong points, they used their antiquated DOMS system. When Microsoft had new releases it bogged down the system for weeks which meant Dell couldn’t sell Microsoft products for weeks after their launch. I could go on and on but you get the idea.
