Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Good changes

Take the dismissals out of everything the manager restructure is a great idea. Keep the same head count, but now have more managers to actually take care of our members. It shouldn’t be a surprise with how hard Gisel and the other executives have been pushing First Five and being member focuses.

No matter what company you go (I’ve worked for 7 companies being a leader in 4 of them) to there is always favoritism, a-- kissers, and bad managers. I’ve been on the short side of the stick to get passed on a promotion because somebody else way a friend to another manager while I was more experienced and skilled for the job. Talk to anyone in the military and they would even say the same thing.

Every single job is based on performance. Just make sure you come in every day, no matter where you work, and do your job correctly and continue to grow.

It seems like the company is being greedy and some good people are getting pushed out while bad managers get to stay because of who they know (it’s sh--ty I know), but it’s to hopefully to build a better club because Home Office knows that Amazon is growing stronger and faster than Walmart Inc. is. Don’t give up on Sam’s Club, your members, or your fellow associates. Again it’s a move that should make us a better company in the end.

Okay end rant start your hate because you will think I’m a sheep!
