All GMS will be displaced then have the opportunity to reapply for their club. If on second or third level coaching they will be let go.

My Sam's Club displaced the Club Manager and 3 asst managers. They let go of the best and kept the worthless.

@mac that is wonderful that your club is safe! I hope that is the case for ours. I was looking for confirmation that that is a possibility. Were you immediately put into one of the new roles? What else was said after you as stayed?!
There are ten times more worthless associates than there are managers. We have several long-term associates that feel they are entitled and walk around like their sh-- don't stink. I would love to see several of them go.
What happened to the core beliefs . I know in some clubs already they have escorted GM's out . One in particular i know is a darn good one probably best in this market . They even moved him around to help struggling clubs . To be walked out the door . Come on !! What happened to ' respect for the individual '
I have one question since ours is happening tomorrow . These managers being let go before Feb 1 . Please tell me they still get their bonuses for the year !!!
They are firing GM if they aren't performing right
Not all GMs lose their position. Ours is staying and we are thankful that we lost no assistant managers!
My club mgr and two of his assts were just fired today, not let go, fired and made to do the walk of shame after many years of faithful service to this company, this club mgr was the by far the best we ever had it’s sad and nd it’s embarrassing and it’s very disheartening to see people that you knew and liked and respected to be treated this way, my god what kind of company am I working for that could be this heartless, uncaring and cruel. If this don’t make you think twice about pursuing as career with this company, I don’t what would, sad, very sad
Personally I think they should left the associates in the clubs have a say on who should stay and who should go. We have some worthless managers....one in particular who is a bully.
If you know this is not true then please explain what's going on. We are all just trying to make since of this.
This person has no idea what they are talking about. Thinking must be very painful for you.... Ignorant and untrue comment. Not all CM's are being displaced or made to reapply.
