I keep seeing posts about APM’s laid off, what about Asset protection associates?

My APM is the new grocery/compliance manager. Which means she has to take care of grocery and still be the apm
I was a Sam's APM until yesterday when "the company no longer had a position" for me. All very sudden, absolutely no warning. My General Manager and Co Manager were also let go. No clue if these cuts are going to be the same in every club or if it's person specific. But it was all very shocking and our associates took the news very, very hard.
Without APMs, there will most likely be a greater need for APAs. Theft will continue whether APMs are in role or not and the company has to minimize theft. This especially applies to clubs with historically high theft and shrink (don’t always go hand-in-hand).
Ours was eliminated yesterday. 😩
