Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Eddie's End Game is Seritage and Loan Interests to SHC

When the dust settles, we will see that Eddie planned this from the start. His endgame is Seritage, his REIT, which is doing really well as one after another Kmart/Sears store closes. He is becoming a bigger and fatter property owner as we speak. The interests he gets from his personal loans to SHC are also fattening his pockets.

This guy, Eddie is nothing more than a war criminal. He is "killing" an icon and thousands of employees as they lose their jobs and livelihood. I say we sign a petition to have Congress investigate this as it will negatively affect the US economy.

I always find it humorous when people say it is your own fault if you don't know what is going on with the company. Okay no one is clueless. And not everyone is miserable at Sears. Some actually like their job, feel they are paid well, and are just riding it out until they are forced into another job that may actually pay them less than they currently make. It isn't that anyone is clueless.

Seritage is not doing well at all.

Check the share price etc yourself.

Just a money obsessed leech feeding off of it until it dies. Will be interesting (and really sad) to see what he goes after next once Sears is gone... Shame it would be hard to outlaw this kind of behavior.

The people who investigate business are the SEC. Also, SHC going out of business would not even rate a small blip on the economy. Sears market cap is less than half a billion dollars which is around 2300x's less than Amazon.

Maybe, that is SHC's problem. They have made themselves out to be so important to people and history that their hubris destroyed them.

Remember, Eddie himself said that SHC did not need anymore customers. They took him up on it.

Nothing illegal here. You may not agree with what is going on but when someone owns the majority of the stock in a company they essentially control the company. That is how business works. For those who have hung around this longs my question is, WHY? Either you have not been paying attention to the dire straights this company has been in for the last 10 years, you drank the Kool-Aid or you are just clueless.

Dont want anyone to lose a job but really, if you dont keep up with what is happening to the company that you work for then the fault is yours.

This is no defense of the man but its no secret what he is and what he has been doing all these years so if you still work for this company then what happens to you is your own fault.

I find it ironic that the media isn’t saying a word about the retail sector of the economy and the thousands of jobs be eliminated!

Walmart got a tax cut and 1,000 more layoffs in addition the the 63 previously announced!

slick eddies pal Steve Mnuchin is probably threatening the media

And again the little guy gets bulldozed!!
