Per this morning Deutsche Bank is predicting GE will delisted from DOW. If this occurs mutual funds will have choice but to sell GE stock. Look for more great news from GE in FY 2018. These corporate GE folks need to be pimp handed for their continuous blunders.

GE already in SP500. Tracking 30 DOW stocks is just a symbol of the old world thinking in the financial industry in NY. Doesn't have much real meaning. NYSE is all for show too anymore - and a high priced club for those working there. It could all be replaced by computers. I guess when enough of the dinosaurs finally leave it may happen.
GE being removed from DOW is likely a given. The stock price discrepancy between the top performers such as Boeing and the lowest performer (GE) is too wide spread and this is one of the measures of retention. There are several good performing companies that would be better suited for the DOW 30 index as compared to GE.
GE considers those who actually do the work to be fully expendable. The so called leaders still have yet to realize that GE itself is expendable.
Lost AAA rating. Still here. Dropped from the DOW so what S&P out preforms it
Not looking good for the people that actually preform the work.

Boat anchor? I think GE Power is more like an iceberg sinking the Titanic.
You are right it is going to be one hell of a year for GE leadership. It ain’t going to be pretty. As for them getting rich, tough to do when GE capital is not offering funding for power plant projects. Sorry, but even with lower metrics for FY 2018 they don’t have prayer of hitting their numbers. As whole their only saving grace is if aviation and healthcare can step it up. The boat anchor is power right now.
Are you guys on drugs??? Go put your tin foil hats back on
2018 is going to be one hell of a year for everyone at GE! One thing is for sure, the top execs will come out richer than ever, meanwhile the rest of us minions get shafted!
One report suggested stock that move from the DOW to S&P 500 actually do better in the intermediate term. No idea whether it is true or not.
