This is ugly what they are doing this week but to the hourly associates stop and think if they can do this to managers what do you think they are going to do with us. How may tl do you think they really need in fresh? Part of grocery gone to fresh do you need a tl? Most tl have been in clubs for awhile along with mrkt,rec, etc so it's coming be prepared...They don't care about us. they just want yes people and p/t that don't make more than that $11.....

So far our market is okay on hourly associates. They just restructured the coaching staff. They cut out AP basically they merged grocery and compliance together along with ancillaries to make a coach over that. They're adding another coach to fresh department (produce coach) No one at our club (atleast as of now ) has been let go. Everyone was just rearranged pretty much. I'm an hourly COS at an Ohio club. They told us that by 2019 they want to cut cashiers in half by 50% and use scan and go and self checkout. It's horrible what they're doing to their associates. I've only been with the company 3 years but it has changed sooooooo much since I started within these 3 years. What a horrible feeling to not know if your going to have a job everyday. And that's why I'm going to look elsewhere now.
It is already happening look up layoff in California today. 650 sams club associates played off.
