Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Sam Walton

Would not have carried out things the way they are handled now. He was pro associate, he had compassion! He knew that his business wouldn’t have been a successful one without his associates! I’m so lost in words for us that are having to go through this! Job security is out the door!!!

I’d like to see Helen Walton’s recipe. Bet it’s held up under lock and key.

As our market manager in 41 ( Nevada and Utah ) says to us all the time .. you are replaceable and the company owes you nothing . We square up every 2 weeks. What a nice thing to say to associates and managers .

Unfortunately the company is run by these types of people that don’t give two sh--s about you. We are all the sh-- on the bottom of their shoes. It’s pretty depressing to watch this attitude in action ..

Sam’s club a great company in 1983 and a complete trainwreck in 2018.

Helen Walton’s recipe for cheese biscuits still stands the test of time while things from Sams days have gone by the wayside. Shows who really wore the pants in that marriage.

I’ve often said he’s probably rolling around in his grave the way things are being handled. Respect for the individual..... Ha

Not anymore.

Sam Walton would have made cheese biscuits top priority. This is the kind of stuff that sinks a company.

Sam Walton would be ashamed of how his company has been run.

I agree all the things that they took away from us after he left it made the employees smaller and smaller and smaller I've been called dime-a-dozen so many times lately it's just depressing and this is after 20 years of service
