Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Who will continue shopping there

Wal--mart will do what it wants and most here that looses there job will continue to shop at both Wal-mart and Sams. Why should they change the stores are still packed and they get richer and richer by the hands of us the non skilled workers as we are called. More and more self checkouts continue to get installed. Eventually there will only be one maybe 2 registers and that will be for tobacco and eventually that will become automated where it becomes a self checkout. Sams has taken the same path and have started installing more and m ore self checkouts and they use scan and go so customers dont even need to go thru a register. Cashiers will be a thing of the past. Technology is great but it comes with a price

It's retail. Deal with the change or quit or stop shopping at walmart.or Sam's. No need to b--ch like a little girl

People like this idiot is whats wrong. Still lives at home off his parents, stays in his room playing games when he's not working his 20 hours a week. Has no clue why people are upset. Has probably worked

6 -10 different jobs and was at them less than year. Has no clue what a mortgage payment is.

It would be too hard to shop anything Walmart affiliated in-store or online due to decades of service with the company, if laid off. Easier to grieve that loss, close that door, accept, and move on. Wouldn't want to constantly relive memories, living in the past, critique, look back, etc. as a "customer" no longer with the company. At the end of the day it's business decision on their end, so as a customer/family we would choose to take our business elsewhere. It wouldn't be out of spite or revenge, it's just so we can move on.
