To be fair UHC told these people to find other jobs for two years, and they could not/would not.
However, UHC did not give them warnings, misled about 30-50 people saying they would help or place them in other jobs, and then even though this division knew it was coming, didn't even give them a final end date.

They just finished liquidating the exchanges today. Told I have to train people to replace me and then probably I am next. This company is terrible. Everytime I look at their propaganda page aka The Hub, I want to throw up.
Anyone know if Optum aquired companies are being laid off this May? Any word on layoffs within the variois health and wellness programs?
Thats true, No notice was given, and many of us were older experienced workers, we were told they were finding positions for most of us, but that was in the last days. No information was given until the very end. I was strongly encouraged to apply for a position to avoid layoff with a different segment, which I did and then I and many others were laid off from the new position with no notice. They stated due to business needs the new segment was unable to complete the transfer.
I think it's a bunch of crap about the comment that UHC gave anyone notice. They gave no one notice when they laid them off. They did that to a bunch of us. We were mostly older workers. Experienced workers and they brought in a bunch of younger straight out of college people. United Healthcare only cares about the bottom line and the bottom line is they don't give a damn about anyone but themselves and don't give a damn about their employees. If they could make everyone obsolete they would. It is such a shame the company does so well and treats their employees so poorly. They gave none of us a notice in here we have slaved away for this company and giving in our Blood Sweat and Tears and they didn't care one crap about us. What goes around comes around UHC. You better start treating people better.
