Probably, just be a rah, rah session to tell us all that everything is going to be great. They will tell us how the new media is lying and against SHC and how they are trying to pull us down. They will tell us how customers dont want nice clean stores, customer service or merchandise they want to buy. They will tell us that all of our registers are OK, the computer system is OK, that the leaking roofs, rusted shelves, dull floors, dirty, dusty stores is what every retail company has. They will tell us that raises, benefits, common courtesy and basic human dignity toward workers is not really what workers want. What workers really want is a piece of paper that tells you how great you are doing.

Then they will ask for questions and within 2 seconds tell us we are out of time. Thank you.

By then I won't be there to watch the podcast. I will be settled into the new job that I am starting in less than three weeks, earning more than my store manager with great benefits, much better job security and more fulfilling work, which I am grateful for. I hope that others who feel like they are stuck can find a lifeline out of this place.

I would be interested in hearing what they have to say though, so I'll ask my coworkers who I will keep in contact with.

I wonder how they are going to pull this off? There are no hours to pull everyone off the floor for a half hour or more. I wonder if its another one of those cheerleading sessions like John Moore did a year ago? "Everything is going to be okay...we are going nowhere!"...and then he leaves SHC a month or two later and SHC continues to crash and burn. Layoffs, cutbacks and store closures are standard operating procedure around here to the point there is no surprise or shock not if, but when it happens. Talk about putting your money where your mouth is!

March 2 or 3 more layoffs and consolidation or elimination of those departments that were untouched in this round. March 6 consolidation of HE into fewer buildings and perks eliminated for HE employees, March 7 or so Financial losses announced
