Could it be the more successful Kmart stores merging into Sears for now (until Chapter 7) with the remaining Kmarts going out of business?

Probably referring to districts/regions merging due to the vastly reduced number of stores in each.
I know our store was moved into a different district this week. I'm hopeful that our new DM isn't a complete tool like our last one, but I find it hard to believe anyone could be more incompetent than the old one.
