Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Named locations

Can someone please tell me if there has been any talked about the named locations closing. I know originally Tacoma was a named location. But what about Bham, and others in the Midwest and Southeast. Claims in some locations are being allowed to die a natural death due to attrition and no rehiring. Finally is seems from this thread at least if you severe voluntarily you get more money. Is that true of pro/tech or is this just a leadership perk?

VP will probably be retired soon. They wouldn’t tell you if they were closing or not. That building is being split up, so soon it will need fewer employees. New Albany isn’t moving.

The VPO states there is no plan to close Newark OH. New Albany may be consolidated into Newark. Maybe. Maybe we both close.

TN still has over a thousand employees, including large Subrogation and SFPP divisions, not that that means the office is safe. Probably more toward the end of the closing cycle. Many offices have 500 or less left in what used to be regional offices.

I think TN, Indiana etc are on the chopping block but that's my opinion.
