Irrespective of what happens on 6th March, Qualcomm needs to clean the house...we are all shareholders in this company.. as a shareholder it is our money that is being spent on misfits VPs, Senior Directors, Directors who contribute nothing to the organization...just because you know someone in the management team does not qualify you to that position...we as a shareholder need to speak up...efficiency needs to be restored..our complacency has made this s@#$hole of a company that it is right now...politics, nepotism, non deliverance, ego boosting non deserving salary package all has to go...company had a chance to improve itself after Jana's partners' intervention...it didn't do..result..whereas the stock market exploded the QCOM stock lingered in $50s for a long time..thanks to BRCM the stock got a bump and if we don't change things now the company will go back to its sh--ty unglorified hole...CHANGE IS REQUIRED for the benefit of all of us...Qualcomm shareholder

Totally agree with the OP.
Years of unmanaged outsource to QIPL. Focused on only salary with minimal regard to experience, efficiency, and long term ownership.
Years of division between CRD, system teams, and SW created heavily finger pointing culture.
Years of spending countless money on moonshot projects and not assigning these guys to front line created so much pressure and inequities to folks pooling their weights in the front lines.
Not to blame this on all directors and above - we all accountable for today's problem.
You could say that the smart employee/shareholder could have seen this coming and long ago sold of majority of their stock. WhyWait for the next big thing when other investments are roaring ahead ?
