I've heard 15 different rumors about the "exciting" news coming for Optical in April. Does anyone, anywhere, have anything substantial about what's coming? It's driving a ton of us batty not knowing the truth.

We are all on pins and needles as well. I have a good friend that is an AM and he overheard a conversation our store was losing Our optical dept. How true that is I do not know. We are a low volume store so it could very well be possible. We have also heard it was going 3rd party. We are just hoping whatever the situation it is handled appropriately with respect to our patients we see. I am curious if they close us will that also close the contracted Dr. next door? I guess even if they do not sell glasses from one store they could still get the rent every month from the drs side. Just a lot of questions and confusion. Hopefully it’s nothing major and all of this is just speculation and rumors.
Heard it's going to third party company
We’ve heard nothing in our area except probably the same things you have and it’s driving us crazy too lol. They’re keeping whatever is coming very quiet and close to their chest which is kind of scary in my opinion lol.
