Employees in India are already paid one month late after they do work. Right now US is about 3 weeks delayed. Just a matter of time for US to move to 1 pay per month.

Just move the paychecks to 2 weeks in arrears, borrow from the pension and increase the cost of benefits to pay for it.

The plan is to ask suppliers to provide deflation on the oatmeal as well as longer pay terms. However, when the oatmeal is sold it will have a higher price.
