Seems like there should be some layoffs today - does anyone have any info?

I like my job and I write an essay bc I am still up at night, so the two just naturally pair together. I don't want to find another job because honestly I don't worry about it. if it happens it happens, but I'm not going to stress out about it to the point where it affects my life. I was looking for a job when I found this one so I am pretty sure I will be able to find another. if I start something I like to see it through, however I come to the site to see if there is any new information. I do not come here for career counseling. I am the kind of person that I take all information with a grain of salt.
Any Tuesday news? Anybody being walked out by security or walking out by themselves?
Has anyone seen any pets today at work? How’s the food in the cafe? Room temp ok? How we doing on Caid?
That’s true....I think JZ knows how to steer the ship- or at least we hope so. We need to drop anchor and sink a few VP that were left behind from the team that tried to sink us
It's obvious we are all working because we don't have the time to write an essay on a blog. Stay productive, JZ is steering the ship the right way; even if it sinks, the Molina's built it to sink....to better rephrase it, VP's and above sank it.
.... or you can just find another job that pays you more and just focus on working. Why be bothered with all the drama and politics and uncertainty of a distressed company?
Even if it is being groomed to be sold...WHO CARES. Make ur self a valuable commodity to keep around with said new company. Checking in with what u contributed to is doing just that. Paul Revering the damn posts and telling people "Get out while u can", "Open ur eyes a sale is inevitable", "your fools for staying", etc is BS. I ask this why didnt you get out when u had the chance? I know why already, bc u were doing the same thing we who are still there are doing - working ur rear end off for a company you want to see succeed and the people u serve. I have contributed to relationships and been hurt for one reason or another, but I dont move on and periodically peep in on them to warn their current fling about said persons ways. Coming here for info is fine and offering support is fine - keeping in mind u contributed and u care about the company and what u helped contribute to - but coming here thinking ur voice is the voice of reason and we are all going to see the error in our ways and praying the damn company folds so u can jump on here and be the first to say "told ya", is utter BS. Those of you who contribute positively or at least constuctively, both past and present employees, I mean no disrespect in this statement. I have seen a multitude of former employees offer LEGIT insight or may sound a little skeptical, BUT, they also are still cheering us on for a win. Those saying it will never get better and still work here - you are right. You have already beaten yourself at the game before its over so with that attitude of "Why even try?" It doea nothing but throw our oars in the god damn water, so I implore you to please stop. I am not blind and can see as well as anyone the ship may or may not right itself, but I bet u what - Tomorrow I am clocking in and I am going to do everything that I can to help it stay afloat. I clock in go for broke every.single.day. Ask yourself "What can I do, be it in a large or small way, to help this dam thing stay afloat"? Keep working, I know it can be tough to stay positive, but we HAVE TO. Whats our other option? Unemployment? Struggling to make ends meet? Praying a severance check arrives every day? Sounds like we have a pretty good gig compared to the options. Keep your hopes up high and your heads down low and lets focus and kick some a--. Help make this company so profitable that selling it would be a huge loss in the long run. The crummier the company gets - thats when the vultures lurk and the board looks at it as a get out while we can still make some money situation.
Finish cleaning out the Molina era SVPs before hacking away Fein thrbfood chain. And some state leadership changes are drastically needed.

ALL VP Corps are under investigation through subpoenas. This is intense.
Reviewing this site if you’ve left makes sense. It is NOT like a failed romance. Some folks worked hard and believed in Molina. What is happening is hard for them to understand. This page isn’t a place to visit for facts, it’s a group blog where people can express many things. It is clear Molina won’t exist much longer. That isn’t happy news for anyone who has worked for Molina and it’s members. It’s awful. Many people care what becomes of the what they contributed to. It’s bad news. And it’s not out of spite. It just seems that most people who are still working there want to believe it’s all going to be ok. People who have left are free to see it is not ok. And the stock increasing Is the goal with labor cuts and other cost reductions. Stock goes up...company is more attractive to be sold. I hope you all resist the temptation to believe your jobs are safe. Be realistic. Not only is Molina about to be sold, but working there now is much harder than ever. Do what is best for you . Molina can’t care about the outcome of YOUR life. Pay attention to what is happening and why. Be good to yourself.

Outstanding post. Focus on Caid and we will be fine. I feel badly for most employees who were victims of the layoffs but not when they want to keep trying to knock the rest of us down. By the way, the stock is up and continues to go up so investors have faith. Employees should, too.
People who are truly happy (i.e. those posting who are previous employees saying "jump ship") tend not to look back at things they left in their lives in which they are happy they moved on from. I'm glad i moved out of places I lived when I was younger, doesnt mean i go to check up on my old apartment and warn the tenant about whatba terrible place it is. Why? Because i have moved on.If Molina is so ridiculous, then why visit the page? I say this with some exception to those former employees who dont comment but just want to see whats happening, and I get that and can respect curiousity. But those who are commenting about the ship sinking and how you are relieved you don't work here anymore, is kind of like being on the phone with ur new girlfriend telling her how happy you are with this new venture - while writing a note to ur ex about how much you miss her. Stop with the "warnings" and "take heeds" - let us do our job and I agree- nothing wrong with the Kool Aid bc it is hot and guess who is thirsty..me. I like my job here and the ppl I serve.
The ship is not sinking. We have JZ (no, not the rapper) the real JZ! You can still drink a little Kool-Caid- it’s not gonna hurt you. Cmon folks, focus on the lines of business and the job at hand and stop worrying about JZ and whether some ship (Molina in this case) is gonna sink. Just do your job like you are suppose to and stop whining all the time

Let’s see if any layoffs happen this Thursday, or on the 30th. This seems to be the pattern to lay you off the last day of the pay period. I know a few in the Pathways office in Fredericksburg that should of been gone!! Best of luck!!
