I'm an engineer who chose to leave Chevron for 3 years for family reasons, but had good performance ratings etc. Now I'm in a position to be able to work again, I was wondering who do you contact to ask for employment opportunities? Making it harder I moved to the US so don't have the network I had at my home location (though I have work authorization). I've tried applying from the external website but that hasn't helped.

Have you tried talking to someone with the company who knows you who might also have so clout/knowledge in this area? Someone currently working who knows your story who is in a position and willing to help you. It really depends on who you know. Good luck
As you can see OP, Chevron isn't what it used to be. Let me know if anyone at CVX actually talks to your face like the posts below. I doubt it, but that's what cowards are.
No one is interested in a washed-up has-been that you seem to be so get lost. Plenty of engineers will never find work in the oil field again.
Is everyone at Chevron as devoid of a sense of humor as @oug?
Y’all some uptight mofo’s
You should contact Mike Wirth.
Hey OP, save yourself the trouble and spend your energy finding a job somewhere else. Chevron is not hiring any engineers of the street right now. They are only doing a little college greenhorn recruiting, that’s all.
