So happy to say, I quit oracle today. Great new position and company culture to match. I’m psyched!

I had a great job at Oracle for a long time. The last couple of years were rough as the bad decisions of management caught up with the company, particularly the lack of imvestment in Cloud and the insane over-commitment to hardware. I left last summer and am very happy at my new company.

Good for you, Oracle is doomed (from a SQNT/IBM SUN/ORCL 35 year hw engineer laid off in Sept 2017). LIFE is better outside. Tech will let you work as much as you want, without reward. Make sure you keep it to 40hrs/wk and live!
