Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

When can those laid off be rehired?

Just as the post title says.

Any news?

The agreement said one year from separation date, but that exceptions can be made on a case by case basis. I’d suspect exceptions would be granted for ETWs who used to be FTEs, as long as the termination wasn’t With Cause.

Per severance package it’s one year. Can’t come back as temp in that time either. Why on earth would you go back?

I heard six months too.

I'd like to but I am not sure it'll be possible any time soon.

My understanding is that those laid off have to wait one year before getting hired back full time, but I'm hearing conflicting things about consulting to Nike. I've heard 6 months and one year, and I've also heard anecdotally of some people going through Flex even before the 6 months. What have others heard or seen?
