to those clerks that want severance and get out some how we need to stand together. We will find out this week but It is not right that our position be dismantled or gone to p/t and we are not offered severance like the bus.office. They want to use us till the new system is in place and work us in other depts which is fine but I don't want to do that without an end date. Can we come up with a plan ? I think we can if we put our heads together. I for one will not settle for I don't know. This is my life and they shouldn't have that much say. Just give us the bottom line. If I don't get some answers I will be hoping to see some suggestions to push the issue, For those clerks that want to or need to stay on good luck

Videos regarding the new “paperless Receiving “ are up in the wire to watch. Under YBM info!!! Wow! So, again, when we’re they going to give the Receiving Clerks a heads up and what is our NEW position????
To “Not Me” poster: Filing a grievance and involving the NAACP? WOW. YOU ARE IGNORANT! You win the award for the most ignorant comment made on this site. Congratulations!
Why should I become a p/t associate, losing benefits as a p/t associate? If there aren’t any f/t jobs that I qualify for, then I should receive my severance pay because my f/t job position has been eliminated.
I'm filing a grievance using the NAACP. What is fair with one associate is fair for another. Showed them an image of our severance policy. This intimidation tactic will not work! Also why are hourly employees held to different WARN standards than salaried? This may be a CLASS action lawsuit in the making. The legal wheels may be set in motion.
To the person who said it has to be a job/title elimination- you are incorrect! Please read the severance pay policy on the WIRE. The policy clearly says that an associate is eligible for severance pay when there is a loss of hours due to a company restructure. Please read this policy before trying to dispute it. It is located in the first paragraph of the policy! You should be given 60 days to decide if you are staying or leaving the company and during this time yes you may need to work in other areas or wherever your CM needs you until your 60 days are up.
S82ja5h-sda. not true. the title or job has to be eliminated, not hours. the job code will no longer exist. just as the audit team and acct tl. if it is a recv clerk part time then the job remains but less hours. same in acct the assoc that were pt did not get severance option because the job code” acct associate” remained.
If they change it from full time to part time, that is a total job change ... you will get severance
Not much has been said about team lead. So who really knows. Maybe they will be later when all vendors are scan base.
So did they eliminate the team lead in receiving?
they did the same thing to acct. used us till the machine was in place for a month. as far as severance the TL title was eliminated. the clerk position may remain just as pt. so no severance based on that.
