What if we don’t want to be floor associates? Will our pay drop?
The assistant that posted. What are they going to do with receiving lead?
Why would they keep it and change title? That doesn't make sense.
Receiving office is being eliminated. Going completely paperless. Receiving clerk is basically going to be a floor associate with a fancy title. I’m an Assistant and we were briefed today by CM

No one knows whats going to happen to people's positions until week 10. Thats when its all going to start
this going to be a hoot....I do not know about all the other clubs but this is going to be total chaos in our club....there is still too much being by our day receiving people to put it all off on nights.....especially since we have only on night receiver on any given night....that person can not unload and haul it all plus sort mixed freight and check in Mclanes and UPS and Fed ex.......one person on days is not enough....you can NOT do day receiving with a part timer.........literally no one cleans the dock but receiving people....with a full time night person and a part time day person there will be no time to keep it all going....piles and piles of freight and junk will build up fast..............yep .....gonna be fun...........
I’m s rec lead and I’m running night crew because manager on vacation.I guess no need for us anymore and they will probably keep the one daytime dock associate to run things and save money .Nice vacation time then back on the job hunt

That’s because they need us around to pack it all up first , get the place organized the way they needed then we will be half recvg dock and half floor associate with a blue vest.
I was told today the office will be packed up by 10th week.. my GM said they have not been told about what the clerks will be doing.. makes know sense... we will be asked to do “other” duties
It's quite obvious that no one really knows what's going on with the receiving clerk position. Alot of speculation without foundation of facts. We will know when they want us to know know and not before then. It's hard waiting to hear our fate but then again, when has our feelings and opinions mattered?
