Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Walmart CAO

Yes Conference call tomorrow about Walmart CAO here in the south. Starts in one week we were told Friday. First 3 week were told not to touch order. After that unclear how much we will be able to adjust without stores ok. Of course they want us to up sell. We will be the one to get the kinks out. Kroger will be next. Then they can flip the switch and it want matter who leaves. How long before Kroger I don’t know. I have a lot and nothing new there.

Everything is scripted at this point! And if they can’t answer....they ignore! Kinda funny!!

Better hit send before it's too late!!! They will lie till the bitter end!! Conference call was so scripted!!

CAO is a joke!! It's ordering way too much product!!

They had to cover up as much as they could! “It’s just CAO” is laughable! These orders are based on order history, not even scanned data!! And ordering for the POP, haha! WM doesn’t follow comac! They may once we are gone? Just wait till Kroger gets on board later this summer.

More time to sell! Haha! We are getting killed in the field! Last weekend was horrible going against the .99cent Keebler crackers! We simply cannot compete! Everything that was said on the call was a joke! They are gonna lie, lie, and lie till the end! This page is made up of bitter employees? It’s just sad to hear the extreme extent they are willing to go to try to cover things up! Had an RMS tell a merchandiser that Keebler was looking to get back into dsd! That’s just ruthless! Says to me that their employees mean nothing to them! No, Keebler is not getting back into dsd! Simply not true!

It's easy for anyone to look up our declining sales and revenue here in the U.S. I guess they just don't respect us enough to just be honest about it. Profits before people.

My DM said that we're committed to DSD. Just CAO he said. No Layoffs! We're growing he said! It will free us up to upsell he said! He said that this page was made by bitter disgruntled employees 😂😂😂

Lies lies lies is all you get from upper management!

Management knew between red flags and Keebler’s exit, they had to put together a campaign to keep things together! One team, one dream is just that! An attempt to unify sales force as our slow exit from dsd is beginning. Hello people, quit fooling yourselves!!! Can’t be much more obvious!

OMG, really? That’s really easy....corporate greed!! Maybe it would have been better had he started with....CAO will soon eliminate dsd. You think everyone would go to work the next day and “give it their all”? In the end, when it is announced we are leaving dsd they will put the heavy on the retailers. “Wasn’t our decision”! Don’t fool yourself, every possible flag is there that dsd is ending. Anyone who believes we are “still committed to dsd” just chooses to live in the false reality company is portraying. Timeline....won’t put a date on it. It will not be long. When our two biggest accounts are CAO, end is near. Kroger rumored to go in July.

No, we’re only going cao because when there is someone on short term disability cao will capture better orders🤨, hummm seems kinda drastic!! Probably cause it is! Big fat smoke screen! Perhaps using order history would make much better sense! It’s embarrasing the extent to which they will lie, and even worse that people will believe them! People, wise up! CAO is going to end dsd! Every retailer knows it!! “Still coming on your truck, for now” is the phrase every retailer is using. As one GM told me, we don’t go CAO unless we are about to take over....from a Kroger store manager. Retail as we know it wil cease to exist! Don’t be niave!

Let's all join hands and sing kum ba yah Mondelez, kum ba yah!!!

It's only CAO!! No layoffs!! One team one dream!! CAO will help us grow😂😂😂!

We're only going CAO in our top 2 accounts across the country!!! No Layoffs 😂😂!!!

If you believe that I have some swampland in Fla for sale!!!

“We’re” not going anywhere only applies to RVP, CRM, supply chain, etc.. They aren’t going anywhere, everyone else is going to the unemployment line! Unless of course you think Mondelez is gonna keep this sales model and keep losing money. Silly me, I thought the new CEO was working to turn things around? Just so happens that our sales model is exactly that of Keebler, all other dsd vendors, not even close! WM is eliminating dsd in waves, kinda dumb to flip everything at once. We can assist them with CAO, other vendors told retailers to forget it!! Too expensive to be CAO and dsd, but for us, we are just that nice!! It’s not about making $, we just love to sell cookies and crackers! Keep believing that!

You people are so gullible!!

Let's continue with DSD and lose money!!!

kum ba yah!!! kum ba yah!!!

Haha!! Quit believing everything you here, they have a far different motive than you! Dsd is ending, that’s the new way of business! Squeeze everybit of profit WM can, which means eliminating the middle man! Business 101! WM is going region by region to ensure a smooth transition!

Pathetic that some believe dsd is here to stay! Kroger going cao as well, been testing it for some time now! Seems they have a need to get it right? Hummm, wonder why? Power of dsd is in selling, incremental selling! Hard to do when we can not adjust orders! The transition is on the way!! Get over it! Eventually Frito and pop companies will join but for now, Mondelez is next!

Not a single luxury,

Like Robinson Crusoe,

It's primitive as can be.

So join us here each week my friend,

You're sure to get a smile,

From seven stranded castaways,

Here on "Mondelez Isle."

Wrong! And even if we were committed to dsd structure it would not matter, retailers are not!! Mondelez keeps saying they are committed to keep the wheels from falling off. That’s the whole reason behind the”one team one dream” campaign! They knew as stores begin the tradition away from dsd, they would need to try to retain employees until the end, and since Keebler left it would not be a surprise anymore. I won’t put a date out there as that is all speculation, but I will say that September is probably a safe bet for field employees to be gone. May see some minor layoff before then, those do t need 60 days notice, only the mass layoffs! It it comes in waves, they may not need 60 days at all!! One thing for certain, dsd is ending! Other vendors will follow, like pop and Frito but they are strategic in taking back a little at a time and we are next!

Tate’s? Remember back to nature? Bought it and it didn’t move the needle, just like Tate’s won’t. If people believe Tate’s is our answer we are up a creek with no paddle! It’s a warehouse item which is handled by a broker. We won’t ever touch this, it will be warehouse and Mondelez will be too! Watch and see!

Cap and bin started already, also in Ohio. CAO at Kroger in largest division was rolled out 5 weeks ago. “Test”. Been testing in some stores for quite some time, seems to be a need to perfect it. CAO in WM should begin this month.

Kroger already CAO in some divisions for Mondelez, WM starting as well. We won’t be dsd by years end, probably by September. Mondelez management my say they are committed but retailers are not! They are the ones testing CAO, not us! It’s a drain on our resources but we are doing it anyways.
