I have to say where I sell appliances in the midwest, most people only want Kenmore.
Young people blow off everything else and ask me about the Kenmore Smart. The love that Alexa is built in so it makes sense it would be #1 on Amazon.
Nah, Amazon is pretty transparent about things like that - if you want to pay Amazon for a better spot on search results / category listings, they clearly label it a "sponsored" result. Sears would have to actually be buying a bunch of their own Kenmore products to influence their bestseller ranking. That is possible, I know it's been done before with a few books, but I doubt Sears could afford it with the way their finances are (appliances are a lot more expensive than books).
Maybe SHLD paid them to add it to the best sellers. This explains the debt the company is in.
