@1-zum is correct. Qdt will stick around with no layoffs this time around. May be another year or two to prove themselves?

QDT will be unscathed just like last time. They're one of the few chances QCOM have of staying afloat long-term

It’s gonna be canceled like every single ever arm server project out there.
Server microprocessor is a very advanced technology. Data center server requires 99.999% uptime. it's a serious business. It's not like smartphone processor you just reboot it when it hangs. I doubt Q has the reputation, maturity or experience to design a server-class microprocessor. it takes decades of experience to do it. it's not something you can just license from ARM, add a few features and call it a product. There is a reason why Intel is a monopoly in this area.
I think qcom would drop this project..
