Dell HR & Ethics = Joke

I sent a letter to HR about discrimination back in September (2017). The person said they would forward it to Ethics and they would get in touch with me. I followed up and just received email the case was close in January. They said they couldn’t find the person to question. I replied that how can you close a claim without even discussing the issue with me, the person who is making the complaint. Secondly, the person they said they couldn’t find was the only black man (my witness) to work for the team for 15 years. How difficult can that be? Anything to protect their directors. SMH. That is truly embarrassing.

if you have a case and proofs write to an arbitrary labor department and get them to represent you. Not the company's own HR.

Your issue is a lack of understanding of ethics and HR at any large company. they are there to protect the interests of the company, and not the employee. It appears that they investigated it enough to know that the story was buried, and the chances of a discrimination lawsuit were low enough to just blow you off. Once again, HR and Ethics represent the company and not you.
