I remember getting out of a company swirling down the toilet in the mid-ninties. I went to QCOM then. After coming over, I tried to recruit some of the better engineers from the previous company. I couldn't believe how resistant They were to getting out. Just like Q now, everybody complained about the place, but only a few made moves to get out until they actually shut the doors.

Yyyy, loser, I am from Boulder and CO isn't a random place. For a long time I was with expedia in Seattle so WA also isn't a random place. I joined Q in Boulder a few years back to return to my beautiful home state of Colorado. Now I work in Denver.

One thing though they are moving the San Diego office to Phoenix as the headquarters are there. Even though it's cheaper than San Diego we are getting free relocation assistance, help selling home, company's paying realtor commissions, closing costs, amd lump sum to help get settled. So I'm taking off all my pent up home equity and buying cheaper in Phoenix area!! Yay. And also if you're a republican, Arizona is a heaven! That's a bonus for me.....
