Heard rumor that wireless RIF's are coming again, some select retail, operations, and call centers... coming again around 5/17 and paid till end of June
As all the others take this with grain of salt just what I have heard.

Call Center President accepted position on retail side with replacement never mentioned. Anyone have word on when more call centers closing? This seems like a pretty good indicator.
No one knows where the market is going. People have been saying it will crash since 2012. Higher interest rates will definitely be a death knell
Debt has exploded with low interest, people are tapped out. Mr. market keeps going up based on fake numbers, manipulated data. Expect more cuts as the economy spirals out of control over the next 36 months.
The B2B market is dead, they're shuffling chairs on the deck while wringing the last drops out of any existing accounts.
Wonder if this coincides with the big manager/director get-together last week about the union soliciting thru employee email. Somehow they obtained a Verizon email list. Supposedly opening the email signs you on as a "yes union" vote. More importantly though, I have a hard time believing that that's the only subject discussed when you go thru the effort of bringing all the regional managers into one place for a day. So this possible May layoffs idea fits.
There is plenty of fat to be trimmed. Retail ops is dead weight running around pretending to be busy when in reality they just do b.s. busy work.
