How would you separate “former SA” from anybody else?
Separating people based on which acquisition they were (un)lucky enough to have come in with seems a little strange.
On the other hand, separating based on which office people are in - now that would make sense.
Don’t know where that would leave outliers though - there are a couple in CF working on things that aren’t Sky, what would you do with them?
It’s all speculation anyway, they’ll all go to the same new home, breathing a sigh of relief and gradually regaining their self respect and dignity.

Apparently not all of the committed IVP customers reacted well to the news, apparently the memory NDS still provokes a negative response at some SPs. If those plans change it will need to be written into the deal, so the lawyers will make some extra porsche money.
Same story for scientific atlanta, after a decade Cisco, SA is dead.
More like a beached whale in a puddle. In six years, Cisco has destroyed NDS and the Video world has moved on. Also if they fired the patents people, do they have any IP left to benifit from.

The acquisition people have been here all week overseeing the separation from L&T. Two birds with one stone? Maybe but but not necessarily.
Surely it's only this site that goes on and on about announcement "dates". 99% of what is written here is rubbish made up by Cisco depressives. Why you surprised about no announcements? I suspect Chuck isn't driven by the bile on this site...as entertaining as it is.
