I’m not sure what departments you mean by “Call Centers”, but I know that whatever the old Business Office service rep title is now was offered the Special EISP last year in 3rd quarter.

The only thing I’ve heard recently is from a first level supervisor that said he felt there would be some kind of offer in June. I think that is just more of a feeling on his part than any real concrete info, so I take that with a grain of salt.

But, the purpose of this site is to post any rumors you’ve heard, so that’s what I heard and you can decide for yourself if there’s anything to it.

Those jobs sukk. I left the bus. ofc. 10 years back for an outside tech job and supvs would follow you to the bathroom and the calls were nonstop all day, if you didnt sell enough call waiting or guardian plans each month you would be written up, harassed, or suspended, lunch was an hour of sitting around watching general hospital in the breakroom, and the union stewards best advice was RAMP out if you couldnt handle it. 5PM people would run out like drunks after an eagles home game. Fun times!!

What do you mean by wireline call centers? Is that where they take calls for new service and billing like the old business office jobs or is it where the calls are answered for repairs and stuff?

I'm not sure what any of these places are called any more.

No but I think eventually they will all be gone except for the mega centers. Hope it is true. I will be going. It’s a terrible job.
