Have a look on google maps, there are some beautiful Kmart stores left. I don't understand why people keep stating everything from the past few years as why Kmart can't survive. Don't they get it? Kmart now has 365 stores and Sears Holdings is profitable, the future is whatever they want it to be. A chain of 1200 stores is not the same thing as a chain of 365 stores. With the company being stable and profitable, there is a new beginning for Kmart.

Half to use a quarter tank of gas to shop a Sears or Kmart and that's as of this week. OP better have most of the crap cleared out of his desk cause the cheerleading squad is going next.
The best Kmart by far is the one in Guam. It is the largest, the most popular, and the most profitable. I don't know if I'd go so far as to call it beautiful, but certainly none of the others deserve it if that one doesn't.

I shop at the one in Somerset, KY and beautiful it ain't. A dump heap would be the best way to describe it but I know that they just don't have the manpower to keep a decrepit space looking halfway decent.
There's a whole world of difference between a nice, clean store and a beautiful store.
There are 365 Kmart's, I doubt those being critical of Kmart have been to all of them. Some Kmarts are absolutely nice clean stores
